Things have been so crazy around me the past few weeks I didn’t realize how close we are to the end of another year. This year I have labeled 2015 as “The Year of the House” and have been taking pictures during the entire process. I sat down for the first time this year and actually looked at the pictures from start to finish — goodness a time lapse shows how much work was done to turn this blank canvas of land into a home!! I cannot wait to share the video with you over the next few weeks, it may take a while to get the video together as I realized today I have taken way too many pictures. Even though I took a lot of pictures, it seems that I must have forgotten to take pictures close to the end of the process and I haven’t taken any pictures now that the house is finished! I am sure my husband will laugh at me when I tell him we need to empty the house out to take pictures of our house before it is furnished! Robert, I am just joking…. but seriously, I do need to take pictures of the house decorated and all set up.
Beginning this video in the month of Thanksgiving has brought to life the things I am thankful for. I am thankful for so much, I simply don’t know where to start. I am thankful I serve a God who looks after His own to begin with but after this I am at a lost of words. I am so much more than thankful and grateful for what life has handed me both good and bad! I have come to realize without the bad or sad days then there would be nothing to look forward to.
Tonight I am thankful for my husband who has taken great care of me this weekend as I have struggled with my foot injury. He has gone above and beyond to make sure I have stayed off of my foot and had everything I need to be comfortable. I have felt bad as I watched him cook and clean plus take care of me. I have to say I am one lucky girl to have a husband who is so devoted to me! I love you, Robert Sharpe!! I am thankful that God brought you into my life… I don’t know what I would do without you.
By the way I will be updating my blog name at the beginning of the new year. Keep your eyes out for a new year of and the journey Robert and I have next.
